September 2025 Wave Info
Between 8th and 22nd September a coordinated wave of actions will sweep across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia, targeting insurers enabling fossil fuels and genocide
For September, the focus is on just two insurers.
AXA
A key insurer of the Israeli war machine and many of the worst carbon bomb projects. AXA has already dropped its support of Israeli banks and Elbit Systems due to activist pressure
AIG
Although only 1/10th the size of AXA, they are almost as heavily involved in fossil fuels and arms. AIG are still in the frame for insuring the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP)
By concentrating on a few targets, we maximise disruption, media attention, and movement wins. Fossil fuels and arms make up just 2–3% of their portfolios — they can afford to drop them and by publicly outing them and toxifying their brand, turning their retail customers away, we can hurt them enough to force them to change and Insure our Survival.

Large London Actions
8th and 9th September
Mass-participation blockade/sit-ins. Legal risks will be low with options to escalate if you choose to. There will be strong similarities to the Defend our Juries and Lift the Ban actions.
